Tracking Wonder

Editorial Website Experience

Designing a calm, editorial web experience that supports reflective storytelling while maintaining clarity, hierarchy, and readability across long-form content.

Overview

Tracking Wonder is a content-driven platform centered on reflective storytelling, personal growth, and creative exploration. The site needed to support long-form reading while maintaining a calm, intentional visual atmosphere that aligned with the brand’s voice.

My role focused on designing page layouts and visual structure that balanced editorial sensitivity with usability, ensuring that content remained the primary focus while still feeling cohesive and thoughtfully designed.

The Challenge

Long-form editorial sites require careful balance: too much visual styling competes with the writing, while too little structure can make content feel overwhelming or difficult to navigate.

The challenge was to create a system that supports readability, hierarchy, and flow without distracting from the narrative voice of the platform.

Approach

The design emphasized restrained typography, generous spacing, and a consistent layout framework that allows articles to breathe while maintaining visual continuity across pages.

Outcome

The resulting layouts create a calmer, more cohesive editorial environment that encourages longer engagement with content while reinforcing the reflective tone of the brand.

The system provides flexibility for future content while maintaining a consistent visual language across the site.
