Nicholas Coffee

Brand & Marketing Design

Refining a legacy retail brand into a clearer, more cohesive visual system across digital, marketing, and in-store experiences.

Overview

Nicholas Coffee is a long-standing specialty retailer with a loyal customer base and a strong physical presence. The goal of this work was to bring greater visual consistency and clarity to their marketing and brand touchpoints while respecting the familiarity customers already associated with the business.

My role focused on translating existing brand elements into a more cohesive system across print, digital, and promotional materials, helping the business communicate more clearly while maintaining its established character.

The Challenge

Nicholas Coffee had a strong legacy brand, but its visual system had become fragmented across digital and physical touchpoints. The challenge was to introduce clarity and cohesion without losing the familiarity customers trusted.

Approach

The work focused on defining a clearer typographic hierarchy, refining color usage, and introducing consistent layout structures that could scale across packaging, marketing, and web experiences.

Outcome

The resulting system provided a more unified visual language across marketing and retail environments, helping the brand communicate more clearly while preserving its heritage character.
